Increased Data Allowances for Families Home-schooling
The government have introduced a scheme to increase data allowances on mobile phones in order to support children and young people who are learning remotely. Families on a number of mobile phone networks can benefit from the scheme.
Schools, trusts and local authorities can request mobile data increases for children and young people who:
· Do not have fixed broadband at home
· Are not able to afford additional data for their devices
· Are experiencing disruption to their face-to face education
Please see full info on the scheme here: https://get-help-with-tech.education.gov.uk/about-increasing-mobile-data?fbclid=IwAR2SDZReeGZuv7TIhfGHUt8wOGeEgHUkIuPBDAjAutARWg4nuvwtlfDey4s
